Things I didn't say during my trip to Chicago

I like those instances of refrain. Those moments where anyone that knows these things about you can be like why didn't you say anything. Well I didn't in the following cases bc it was either difficult to explain, or felt too much like I was showing off. But I also thought it'd still be a good intro to this blog bc it's a few things about me I find paramount to understanding who I am. So here they are:

1. My boot collection

When we were talking about shoes I didn't say anything about the boot collection I wanna start. Or the boots I just started it with and was one payment away from having paid off. I didn't say I was thinking about buying another pair from the same site using the same payment plan when I get home. I couldn't find any room in the conversation, especially after explaining why I didn't want the ivy park joggers took strenuous effort.

2. My lotion routine

When they said I didn't smell like anything I didn't tell them about my post shower lotion routine. That I wash off and reapply, which is why I have to take showers every day. It's an aloe I apply to my body, followed by another brand of lotion I apply to my face. I thought mentioning it would be showing off, which is weird though, cause I told my friend louis.

3. How I sing

When they asked me if I play instruments I didn't say I sing. That I been singing since I was a kid, and how I stopped as I got older when trying to come up with melodies didn't feel good. It was at this point I realized how much information like this I was withholding and wondered why but also felt good about.
