I wanna Shazam music coming from a car driving by from my fifth story apartment window I think if my life was more project based And the ppl I do the work for liked And supported it I would find it more meaningful I just want something to do I don’t want a personal life I want my life to be all about work And art This girl said hanging out w me when I asked her what she’s doing tomorrow And then left my question of where she had in mind on read I really don’t have anywhere to go every day at all Unless I wanna hang at the park Or a cafe Get a haircut I’ve seen ppl on dates there at the park on a weekday And thought that’s insane But so was me being there for an open mic at the same time I think it’s being at a park on a weekday that gets me Like you don’t have anything to do Damn When I saw the host walking around on the phone furious I thought it was work I hoped It hella wasn’t though It was just some drama he was dealing w And telling us all about I thought what do I do for a living What does everyone here do This is why I don’t do comedy in the park Unless it’s for work Or money it’s just hella existential I can’t believe summers almost over I wanna hear a hard ass rapper say comedy in the park makes me laugh and smile in their lyrics What if I used this as a cover letter
