Hella Warriors Poetry IV

Hearing that the warriors were gonna play at seven thirty that night was probably the best news I’ve gotten all week, like a dream come true almost. 

Until then, I swear I had been staying up every night till one to watch them all season, and frankly I was sick of it. 

That night I realized I'm actually sick of that. That shit sucks. It hella wears on you. 

I thought I saw that earlier too, but I couldn’t be sure, bc I thought like the warriors and mavs at seven thirty? Aren't they on the same time zone? But no, Mavs are on their own. 

Central is like an hr behind us, but then still 2 hrs ahead of pacific, so they started at 6:30pm. It would still be 4:30pm in the bay, and ppl would still be at work, so they didn’t do that for us. No, they didn't do that for anybody. Sports are ruthless like that, or time zones are anyway for that matter.

That night was sick though.

We had no centers, bc Wiseman and Looney were out. I didn't see Looney, but he was probably there somewhere. Wiseman was out on the sideline in a cartman hoodie. Something happened to his hand, so I guess Draymond stood in his position as Toscano would go up for the tip. 

I like Toscano. He's hella rowdy, and he talks hella shit. 14 points, hella clutch last night, it was almost his best game. W a two point difference in score between them, and 50% a piece average from the perimeter, him and Mulder were almost like interchangeable. Unlike Wiggins and Bazemore, but Wiggins still managed to walk away w 18 points, one more than Lee's closing score of 17, who was 80% from the perimeter.  

W a 57% field goal average, and 51 from the perimeter, we were pretty dominant inside. I mean very much so, everyone was going in for something like 15 assists from Draymond, which was weird bc we're usually the opposite, but that was Dallas instead that night for whatever reason, or at least it looked that way. 

Now, it’s obvious warriors had more field goals than threes, but did they have more threes than the mavs? Again, obviously but I still asked my roommates, like I prefaced it w idk if this is a stupid question, but - I just thought if the number of threes they shot was lower then it might be curved or something. Like if warriors were 22/43 and Dallas is 20/50, but naw. 

A percentage is a percentage, so warriors were better in every aspect except free throws, which they were only down by like two percent at 85. At 87%, that was the majority of Dallas’s points, jk. That would be lit though, right, if a team won a game on solely free throws? 

I just asked my roommates if that’s ever happened before, and they got hella pissed, like no man. What's your problem?

Honestly Idk what got into Oubre. I mean by the end of the first quarter I thought this guy sucks, but by the end of the first half the announcers were saying this might be his career best, as in career best half, whereas his last career best was a second quarter (i feel like i should say who that's against). And where I don't think he got that record, he still made his career best game by closing that night out w 40 pts. 

I think Draymond and Curry sat out for a majority of the fourth quarter, maybe like five min. Like they just left at some point and never came back.

You know Curry's under hella criticism rn for shooting under forty percent from the perimeter, but he doesn’t have to be any better than that. No, he doesn’t have anything to prove to anyone anymore. He’s been to the ship so many times he doesn’t have to hold himself accountable for shit.

We'll see tonight though.

Hella Warriors Poetry III

Charlie hella likes Wiggins, Andrew Wiggins. 

He has a Wiggins shirt. He's always like Wiggins hive assemble before every game. If there weren't any droids in the thread I would recommend calling it the Wiggins hive.

He says he's gonna be mvp in the next three years. And they only have gifs of him from the timberwolves. It’s bullshit. 

Wolves are big this week. I saw wolfwalkers. We played the Minnesota timberwolves for the last two games, and I’ve seen some references in other movies I’ve watched this week. I used to wanna live in Minnesota.

I barely watched monday's game against them, but we were honestly just winning the whole time. Last night's was close though, at least for the first half. 

By the end of it, Bazemore, Wiggins, Oubre, and Wiseman had accumulated 45 points. But Curry opened w 0/7 in threes, while the timberwolves were 6/12, when they're not even a 3-point shooting team. More like a 36% 3-point shooting team, Edwards was 8/11, while the warriors were 3/19.

Things sorta stayed this way for Curry until like the last ten seconds of the half when he scored a layup. Then he did something like 19 moves at some point of the latter half before hitting a three over some dude.

But this was Oubre's highest scoring quarter of his entire career w 16, while the highest scoring quarter in the history of the nba is held by Klay Thompson w 37. Still probably Oubre's career best. I wouldn't know. I didn't see cause I left in the fourth to watch ammonite.

Warriors ended up beating them by something like 20 points, so Wiggins got his revenge after all. I actually don't think he cared. I don't think he holds grudges. I mean maybe, but I couldn't see it. 

We have Phoenix tonight. I thought they were supposed to be hella good rn, but they're more like us, actually. We're probably better. We're in 6th place, while they're in 9th. It's still early, but Jazz are number one, and go figure. They beat the shit out of us last Saturday, nearly making a fan outta me. 

I didn't think Chris Paul would care about beating the warriors, but he hella does, actually, probably. Clippers and Warriors used to hella beef when the clippers used to beat them until the warriors turned around and started giving them a taste of their own medicine in a bizarre twist of fate if you know what I mean. 

So tonight should be a little bit interesting bc if Wiseman and Oubre get loose in the paint again it's gonna be nighty night for the clip thangs, I mean phoenix, shit. I don't think I can do this anymore lol. It's just not as inspiring as it once was. But I've already gotten this far, so I'm gonna post it, then we'll see.

Crazy for doing this again when I didn't want to though. But I followed the announcers stats so close I couldn't let this fall at the wayside. Though I don't think they come up w those, like keeping track of every players stats individually. I think someone else is feeding em. They're hella busy chatting it up.

Hella funny though, talking about Wiggins' smile at some point.

Hella Warriors Poetry II

There was a lot of yelling on the spurs end, a lot of struggle.

You could hear em throughout. 

Lee didn't have a good game. He missed about every three, and got ejected in the fourth quarter for unsportsman like conduct, jk. It was like a flagrant foul, or some shit. He hit someone in the head, almost fucked up the vibe completely. 

Everyone was just looking at him like wth, sit down.

We hella surprised the spurs last night though, hella caught em off guard. 

We hella could've done that to the pacers last week too, nuggets, every team we lost to by around ten.

It was also just hella coo of them to win on both days of the inauguration and mlk.

I was telling robert i feel like going back on what I said yesterday about green coaching wiseman, bc last night hella told me exactly what they were talking about. 

20 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists, I think wiseman got addicted to lobs. Once he hit one he was hooked, and he was looking for it every time. And they were looking for him too. Everyone was just hella looking for each other, and going in. It was hella funny.

Robert was saying we've never had a good center before, so this is just hella crazy.

It was like when the warriors used to blow teams out by like a million, meets the we believe movement, which they were hella commemorating, and i hella don't want them to go back to, but I also don’t wanna say they’re the former championship team yet either, bc that’s just like hella celebrating before the win, way too soon.

I’ll barely acknowledge a leading score until we’re down to the last twenty seconds. 

I was thinking today like you actually might not have to talk to anyone about last night this time at all, bc you were talking to everyone last night in the thread during the game. 

Last nights also just hella easy to talk about, like too easy. A more difficult task would be a conversation about the nets, bc i keep barely watching their games

I think it's just hella funny how i can barely watch other teams, bc i don't care. I don't have any stake in it, at least until the playoffs.

All i saw last night was harden throwing it out of bounds. Like i kept looking up to him doing that every time, choice move.

Kyries hella nice too, like a nice person. He hella shook hands w every one of the Cavs afterwards, no problem.

I was thinking I’ll just write one of these poems for every warriors win, but we’ll see. That could get hella crazy, and out of hand. So I'll just say for now I don’t think I’m gonna write tomorrow regardless of what happens. 

Watch me go back on that though.
